How is Hydō different from other electrolytes?
Most electrolytes are built for runners or cyclists, then marketed to everyone. Hydō is built for combat sport.
We dose ~620mg of sodium to replace what you sweat out on the mats, use magnesium bisglycinate that absorbs without gut upset, include 2,500mg equivalent tart cherry extract for recovery, and use Vitamin B6 as P5P, the active form your body uses immediately.

Will Hydō break my fast?
Each serving contains around 18 calories. Most intermittent fasting protocols consider anything under 50 calories unlikely to trigger a significant insulin response, so for a typical 16:8 window Hydō fits comfortably.
If you follow a strict zero-calorie fast, use it during your eating window instead.
Is Hydō for daily use, or just for fight camps?
Both. If you're training more than three times a week your body is in a constant cycle of mineral depletion.
Fight camp makes that obvious, but the damage builds quietly during regular training too.
Daily use prevents the cumulative fatigue that leads to flat sessions, poor sleep and eventually injury.
The fighters who gas out in round three aren't undertrained. They're under-recovered.
Who is Hydō NOT for?
If your training is light technical work once a week without breaking a sweat, you probably don't need this. Hydō is for athletes who train hard and sweat hard.
If you're not leaving the gym drained, water will do the job.
If you're on a medically restricted sodium diet, speak with your doctor before use.
When is the best time to take Hydō for maximum recovery?
We recommend the "1-2 Punch" method.
Each serving is 7g of powder. Your 3.5g scoop is designed to split that across two doses.
Pre-training: mix one scoop with 200 to 250ml of water and drink 30 to 45 minutes before you step on the mats. You'll start fully loaded, not fading by round three.
Post-training: mix your second scoop within 30 minutes of finishing. This kickstarts rehydration before you leave the gym so you're not waking up the next morning feeling like you got hit by a truck.
